JOB DESCRIPTION:
Well rounded plastic fabrication specialist required for a growing manufacturing company. Position represents a key role for the company. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on manufacturing skills, product manufacturing experience, and a passion for producing high quality products. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of the product manufacturing lifecycle including interfacing with company management, product support, and product distributors.
Duties / Required Skills / Required Experience:
- Product Manufacturing.
- Quality control and assurance.
- Plastic welding and fabrication.
- Plastic, aluminum and steel machining.
- Equipment assembly.
- PVC, PP, and PE.
- CAD design and related design.
- Experience reading CAD and hardcopy drawings, designs, blueprints, and specifications.
- Casting, extruding, cutting, inspecting and packaging fabricated plastic.
- Process piping for water, liquid chemicals, gases, air, and waste systems.
- Set up of machines and equipment used to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Inspect products for defects.
- Measure product to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments including micrometers, vernier calipers, ph meters, etc.
- Product packaging.
