Sabre Successfully Fumigates Anthrax-Laden USPS facility in Hamilton, NJ

Hamilton, NJ. — October 28, 2003 — Sabre Technical Services, LLC. (Sabre), today announced that it has successfully fumigated the anthrax-contaminated USPS facility in Hamilton, NJ with gas-phase Chlorine Dioxide. Sabre was selected to perform the fumigation and other services after its success at the USPS facility at Brentwood and the Capital Hill building complex. Third in line for clean-up, the 282,000-square-foot Hamilton building was sealed as a hazardous site in October 2001 after it was determined that letters containing anthrax were processed there.

Sabre's proprietary and patented technology provides the safe and effective decontamination of facilities and facility contents with minimal disruption, negligible corrosion, and no residual toxicity. Clearing the way for the fumigation, the Environmental Protection Agency on October 20, 2003 granted a crisis exemption that authorized the use of Chlorine Dioxide to fumigate the Trenton facility and rid it of anthrax spores.
