Postal Service Begins Decontamination of Trenton Facility
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Postal Service begins the decontamination of the Trenton Processing and Distribution Center tonight, with the introduction of chlorine dioxide gas into the facility at about 4 p.m. Once the chlorine dioxide gas concentration reaches 750 parts per million throughout the facility, estimated to occur between 6-9 p.m., the decontamination process begins and will last through Saturday morning. The fumigation will take about 12 hours.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Postal Service and the District of Columbia Department of Health today announced the results of the July 29, 2002 testing in the Washington D.C. WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Postal Service today announced contract awards to Ashland Inc. of Covington, KY and its Drew Industrial Division, and Sabre Oxidation Technologies Inc. of Odessa, TX, for the clean up of the anthrax contaminated Washington, DC Processing & Distribution Center (the Brentwood facility) and Trenton Processing & Distribution Center, Hamilton Township, NJ. The Ashland Inc. contract award is for $1,164,670 and the Sabre contract award is for $1,255,833.
