Case Study: AMES Department Store

Kingsbury, NY

The Issue: Pervasive Mold Contamination
The Solution: Facility Decontamination with ClO2 Gas

On June 28, 2005, Sabre successfully fumigated a large building located in Kingsbury, NY that was formerly occupied by an Ames department store. The building was fumigated with chlorine dioxide (ClO2) gas for the purpose of treating the pervasive mold contamination present within the building. Mold sampling was conducted throughout the approximately one million cubic foot building both before and after fumigation to demonstrate efficacy of the treatment.
